Frequently Asked Questions
What is Think Ai Software
Think AI Software is an AI-powered legal analysis platform that generates comprehensive deposition summaries and case analysis. Our system uses advanced algorithms to transform lengthy deposition transcripts into 17 distinct analytical sections, providing attorneys with actionable legal intelligence while maintaining strict citation integrity.
How does Think AI save me time?
Instead of spending hours reading through hundreds of pages of deposition transcripts, Think AI generates complete analysis in a fraction of the time. Our 17-section system automates the identification of key testimony, inconsistencies, impeachment opportunities, and strategic insights—work that would typically require dozens of attorney hours.
Is Think AI accurate?
Yes. Every statement in our summaries is quoted verbatim with precise page-line citations, ensuring you can instantly verify any quote. Our AI uses advanced algorithms designed specifically for legal analysis, reducing the risk of human error while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
Can I try Think AI for free?
Yes! We offer a free deposition summary to help you experience the platform's capabilities firsthand. Simply click "Start Free Deposition Summary" on our website to get started.
What do I need to provide?
You'll need to upload your deposition transcript in PDF format. Please provide an original non-scanned PDF that has 1 page per page (not 4 pages per page or other condensed formats). Our system handles the rest, analyzing all pages to generate comprehensive summaries and analysis across all 17 sections.
How long does it take to generate a summary?
Analysis is completed in a matter of minutes (depending on transcript length), compared to the hours and days it would take to manually review and summarize a deposition. You can monitor the progress through our real-time status display showing all 17 analysis steps.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept PDF files up to 200MB in size. The PDF should be an original (non-scanned) document formatted with 1 page per page, not condensed versions with multiple pages per sheet. You can upload files by clicking "Browse Files" or using drag-and-drop functionality.
Can I use scanned depositions?
We highly recommend using original non-scanned PDFs for best results. Scanned documents or condensed formats (like 4 pages per page) will not process correctly.
Do you analyze the entire deposition?
Yes. Our system is instructed to analyze "ALL PAGES" in each section, ensuring comprehensive review with no testimony overlooked. You can set the starting and ending pages (we recommend starting with the first page of testimony and ending with the last page of testimony), and the system will analyze everything in between.
How do I configure the analysis settings?
When processing your deposition, you'll set the starting page (default is 1), ending page (or select "Last Page"), and lines per page (default is 25). You can also check "Will extract to end of document" if needed for comprehensive coverage.
What files do I receive after analysis?
You'll receive four files: a Word document (.docx), PDF file (.pdf), and Split Screen Viewer (.html). You can download all files together as a ZIP file to view the results.
What are the 17 sections?
Our comprehensive analysis includes:
(1) Abstract
(2) Page/Line Summary
(3) Narrative Summary
(4) Injuries Analysis
(5) Liability Analysis
(6) Damages Analysis
(7) Inconsistencies Analysis
(8) Contributory Negligence Analysis
(9) Witness Credibility Assessment
(10) Fact Chronology
(11) Document Authentication
(12) Financial Calculations
(13) Strategic Implications
(14) Motion Practice Implications
(15) Follow-Up Discovery Areas
(16) Impeachment Opportunities
(17) Final Recap
Do I have to use all 17 sections?
No. While all sections provide comprehensive analysis, you can focus on specific sections most relevant to your immediate needs—whether preparing for summary judgment, settlement negotiation, or trial. The flexibility allows you to prioritize based on case stage and strategy.
How are the sections connected?
Each section works together to provide multiple perspectives on the same testimony, revealing patterns and issues that might be missed when viewing testimony through a single lens. For example, an inconsistency identified in Section 7 might inform the impeachment strategy in Section 16 and impact the credibility assessment in Section 9.
Which section should I read first?
Start with Section 1 (Abstract) for a quick overview, or Section 17 (Final Recap) for bottom-line strategic insights. If you need to find specific testimony quickly, go to Section 2 (Page/Line Summary). For trial prep, focus on Sections 9 (Credibility), 16 (Impeachment), and 13 (Strategic Implications).
Can I monitor the analysis progress?
Yes. Our system provides real-time monitoring through the "Step Status Overview" that shows the progress of all 17 analysis sections as they're completed. You'll see when PDF extraction is complete and can track each analytical step until you receive the "Status: Complete!" message.
How can I use Think AI for trial preparation?
Think AI provides ready-made resources for cross-examination (Section 16), witness credibility evaluation (Section 9), timeline exhibits (Section 10), case theme development (Section 13), and identifying testimony that supports or undermines your case theory across all sections.
Can Think AI help with settlement negotiations?
Absolutely. Sections on liability (5), damages (6), inconsistencies (7), and the final recap (17) provide the foundation for evaluating settlement value and preparing demand letters or settlement memoranda. The financial calculations section (12) consolidates all monetary testimony for accurate damage discussions.
How does Think AI help with motion practice?
Section 14 specifically identifies improper testimony, lack of foundation, and inadmissible statements—providing ready-made content for motions in limine, motions to strike, or summary judgment motions. Every problematic statement is quoted verbatim with exact citations.
Can I use Think AI summaries with expert witnesses?
Yes. Sections on injuries (4), damages (6), and financial calculations (12) provide experts with the testimonial foundation they need for their analyses. The document authentication section (11) helps coordinate with records custodians.
Is Think AI useful for discovery planning?
Section 15 identifies gaps in testimony, unanswered questions, and areas requiring follow-up through additional depositions, interrogatories, or document requests. This prevents discovery from ending premately with critical issues unresolved.
How do I verify the AI's analysis?
Every quote includes precise page-line citations, allowing you to instantly locate the original testimony in the transcript. This citation integrity ensures that any statement can be verified and used in legal documents without additional research.
Can I use Think AI summaries in court filings?
The verbatim quotes with page-line citations can be directly incorporated into briefs, motions, and other legal documents. However, as with any tool, you should review the analysis and verify citations as part of your professional responsibility.
What if I find an error?
While our AI is designed for high accuracy, we recommend attorneys review summaries as they would any work product. If you identify errors, please contact our support team at support@thinkaisoftware.com so we can continuously improve our system.

Is Think AI compliant with legal confidentiality requirements?
Our zero-retention policy and session-based access model are designed to protect attorney-client privilege and work product confidentiality. However, as with any technology tool, attorneys should evaluate Think AI's security practices in the context of their own ethical obligations and jurisdictional requirements.
